Not to mention the stripped bolt catastrophe when I wired my ceiling fan above my bed. Maybe one of these days I'll stop trying to be a "Jane of all trades" LOL... I don't do tools. ;) (I had a scary, ozone-into-the-room, smoking computer, frizz-my-hair moment years ago -- circa 1990 -- when I learned the hard way that if separate grounded outlets aren't grounded to the same ground, electronics running on one system don't like to be plugged into competing outlets. That may not be the best technical description of the situation, but it's the best I can remember from what my geek buddy who came to my rescue told me at the time. I was shaky for days after that episode.)
